The meeting was held at 6:00pm at the church and was called to order by Chair, Stephanie Brewer, following a pizza and salad dinner.
Present were: Stephanie Brewer, Priscilla Lang, Sharon Zuber, Mary Colozzi, Sherry Johnson, Carol Hart and Mary Jane LaBelle.
Minutes: The minutes for the meeting of January 8th, 2009 were approved as presented

Reports:
1. PAC:
Stephanie gave a report on fine turning the church sound system.
Sherry mentioned the classes that the Archdiocese is giving at Holy Trinity in March and May and encouraged church members to attend.

Carol reported that as of the end of February we had in: Savings: $584, Flowers: $591, Carpet Fund: $1494, Checking: $203 and two CD’s that were rolled over into one year CD’s.
Carol discussed Easter decorations and baskets that she purchased to give out to children on Easter Sunday. It was moved to reimburse Carol for all Easter expenses incurred and additional expenses she might have (MSP: Mary Jane/Sherry).
3. Sunshine Committee: It was suggested we establish an account with a florist or that we buy flowers and plants and charge to our Rays account. Mary Jane suggested that we investigate charging to an online florist to save money and Carol said she could do that with the guild’s debit card.
4. Altar Society: Stephanie said we have $361 in the Altar Society account.
New Business:
1. Memorial Service Costs: It was moved that we tell people, from outside the church membership asking for a memorial service at St. John’s, that there would be a $25 cost for the church rental and that anything they would like to contribute to the cost of a buffet lunch would be appreciated (MSP: Carol/Mary Jane). Various ways of cutting food expenses for memorial services were discussed.

5. Poinsettias: We discussed the Christmas flowers and it was moved that we purchase the larger 8 inch ones (MSP: Mary Jane/Carol).
6. Easter Breakfast: Stephanie said that she and Nan will do the egg and the potato dishes and asked for volunteers to bring complimentary side dishes for the Easter buffet breakfast.
